The global startup festival Try Everything 2024 convened at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from September 11-12, 2024. Building on the success of the previous year’s event, which attracted 566 local and international startup ecosystem experts and 563 investment institutions, resulting in approximately KRW 95.3 billion in investments, this year’s festival aimed to elevate its impact further.
Under the theme ‘New Waves, New Ways,’ Try Everything 2024 focused on addressing the challenges presented by the AI revolution and evolving geopolitical landscape. The event prioritized tangible outcomes, emphasizing investment attraction and fostering domestic and international open innovation partnerships.
The festival saw increased participation from startup ecosystem stakeholders representing major global innovation hubs, including Germany, Quebec, Australia, and France. This enhanced international presence strengthened the global cooperation network crucial for nurturing leading deep-tech companies.
Try Everything 2024 was strategically co-located with the Seoul Campus Town Startup Festival 2024, attracting a significant number of domestic and international university students. This synergy between events contributed to a dynamic and diverse atmosphere, further enriching the overall experience for attendees.
