Seoul Beauty Hub Opens to Propel K-Beauty onto the Global Stage

sungho-choo - 2025 April 23

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has officially opened the Seoul Beauty Hub, a comprehensive support platform designed to propel promising K-beauty companies onto the global stage. Located on the third floor of the DDP Fashion Mall in central Seoul, the Hub began pilot operations in late February and will be fully operational starting May 2025.

The Seoul Beauty Hub serves as a one-stop center supporting the entire business process for small and medium-sized beauty companies, including product design, distribution, marketing, and export. The city aims to help local beauty brands overcome recent challenges such as rising global tariff barriers, particularly those impacting exports to the United States

The Hub is equipped with a variety of specialized spaces:

  • Global Marketing Support Office: Provides trend analysis by country and export consulting, offering information and networking opportunities for international expansion.
  • Business Lounge: Hosts product exhibitions and facilitates connections with buyers and influencers to secure domestic and overseas sales channels.
  • Production Support Office: Offers design information for beauty packaging and supports label production.
  • Live Commerce Studio: Assists with video content creation and links products to online sales channels.
  • Multipurpose Hall: Hosts seminars, expert lectures, and programs for job seekers and entrepreneurs in the beauty sector

The Seoul Beauty Hub operates weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is accessible to beauty-related companies, universities, and aspiring entrepreneurs who make a reservation through the official website (scheduled to open in May)
