Hurotics, a South Korean soft wearable robotics company, has secured KRW 25 billion in Series A funding, bringing its cumulative capital raised to more than KRW 33.5 billion.
Atinum Investment led the round. Most of the company’s existing major investors returned with follow-on investments, including Stonebridge Ventures, AJU IB Investment, Wonik Investment Partners, and Doosan Investment. Mirae Asset Venture Investment joined as a new financial investor, while Daewoong, Naver, and Lotte joined as new strategic investors spanning healthcare, information technology, and distribution. IBK (Industrial Bank of Korea) also participated.
Led by CEO Lee Ki-wook, Hurotics is a Korean company that develops soft wearable robots for medical rehabilitation and everyday mobility support. Its flagship product, H-Medi, is a medical-grade walking-rehabilitation soft exosuit certified by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a Class 2 combination medical device. The company is now extending its technology beyond clinical rehabilitation into consumer-facing mobility support with H-Care, an everyday walking-assistance robot.
Hurotics plans to use the new capital to secure overseas regulatory approvals for H-Medi and expand its global hospital distribution network. The company will also fund the development and mass production of H-Care, its everyday walking-assistance robot.
Over the longer term, Hurotics aims to build a wearable physical AI data platform based on walking-data analysis. The company plans to develop personalized algorithms and services for predicting sarcopenia and fall risk, positioning its wearable robots as both mobility devices and data-driven healthcare platforms.
