VivaInnovation Raises KRW 15 Billion Series C Raises KRW 15 Billion Series C

sungho-choo - 2026 August 8

VivaInnovation, a South Korean company that operates digital healthcare platform Good Doctor, has secured KRW 15 billion in Series C funding.

The round drew participation from several leading Korean investment firms as new backers, including Aju IB Investment, LB Investment, and Gradient. Global body-composition analysis company InBody joined as a strategic investor. Aju IB Investment and LB Investment reportedly cited VivaInnovation’s medical AI technology, the competitiveness of its multi-institutional, time-series clinical data platform, and its growth potential ahead of a planned IPO as key reasons for investing.

This marks VivaInnovation’s fourth major funding round. The company previously raised KRW 10.5 billion in a Series B round in December 2023, following earlier funding since its founding in January 2018, bringing its cumulative capital raised to well over KRW 26 billion with this new round.

Founded in 2018 and based in Seoul, South Korea, VivaInnovation operates Chakhan Uisa, a digital healthcare platform built around health-checkup data. The service connects users’ health screening and medical records with hospitals and personalized care recommendations, leveraging health big data obtained through partnerships including Korea’s Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. The company has increasingly positioned itself around medical AI, developing technology that analyzes multi-institutional, time-series clinical data to predict individual health risks and recommend follow-up monitoring pathways based on checkup results.

As part of this round, VivaInnovation and InBody — a global leader in body composition analysis — agreed to deepen a strategic partnership that links body composition data with lifestyle and other personal health information, aiming to build more precise, personalized medical services by combining the two companies’ complementary data assets.

VivaInnovation said it will use the new capital to strengthen its AI technology competitiveness, expand its clinical data platform, and broaden strategic partnerships. The company plans to scale services that use AI to predict individual health risks and suggest tailored follow-up care based on checkup data, building toward the technology and business competitiveness needed to support a future IPO.
