The third annual Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo (AFPRO 2025) has successfully concluded, cementing its role as a vital hub for hundreds of innovators, investors, and industry leaders in South Korea’s burgeoning agricultural and food technology sectors.

Beyond the main exhibition floor, the event featured a dynamic agenda of activities designed to foster collaboration and accelerate growth. Attendees participated in a variety of high-value sessions, which included insightful presentations on the latest industry technologies, targeted one-on-one business matchmaking meetings, and high-stakes investment pitches, as well as reverse pitches from investors.

The schedule also included specialized workshops covering critical topics such as intellectual property rights for entering the French market and leveraging government support for overseas expansion. A seminar on the latest global agri-food trends provided further strategic insights for participants.

Underscoring the event’s national importance, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Song Miryung, was in attendance. “AFPRO 2025 is a platform where ag-tech and food-tech startups present their innovative technologies and capture significant industry attention,” she stated. “We will work harder to create a sustainable ecosystem for entrepreneurship.”

The minister’s remarks highlighted the collaborative spirit of the expo, which has once again proven to be an indispensable catalyst for building a stronger and more innovative agri-food tech community in Korea.
