South Korean humanoid robotics startup AeiROBOT has announced the successful completion of a KRW 10 billion Series A funding round on July 11. The round was led by BonAngels Venture Partners, with participation from new investors including Korea Development Bank, NH Venture Investment, and Innopolis Partners. Existing investors Hana Ventures, SGC Partners, and Gauss Capital Management also took part in the round.
This brings AeiROBOT’s total funding to date to KRW 13.5 billion, following a KRW 3.5 billion seed round completed just a year earlier.
AeiROBOT develops a diverse portfolio of humanoid robots. These include Alice, a bipedal robot engineered for mobility and dynamic movement; Amy, a greeting robot designed for front-line customer interaction; and Eddie, a social companion robot built to engage users in everyday environments.
In addition to its robot lineup, the company has also developed its own third-generation linear actuator, a key component designed to enhance robotic performance while significantly reducing manufacturing costs. This proprietary technology marks an important step toward scalable and cost-efficient humanoid robot production.
AeiROBOT’s technological innovation has also gained international recognition. In May, the company was invited by NVIDIA to participate in InnoVEX 2025 at GTC Taiwan, a prestigious global tech event. At the event, Arobot received both the NVIDIA Award and the Okinawa Innovation Award, highlighting its growing influence on the global stage.
With the fresh Series A funding, AeiROBOT plans to further advance its R&D and production capabilities. The company aims to leverage its proprietary technology to secure a competitive edge and establish a leading position in the global humanoid robot market.
