The Ministry of Science and ICT held the finals of the K-Digital Grand Championship on December 3rd, an annual competition to discover and support the nation’s top early-stage startups in artificial intelligence and digital fields.

Now in its fourth year, the K-Digital Grand Championship serves as a tournament of champions, selecting the best company among winners from various public and private AI and digital competitions. This year, a total of 29 companies and teams participated, including representatives from 24 public and private competitions and programs, as well as five regional techno parks.
At the finals stage, seven teams which were selected through the integrated preliminary rounds held in November participated in IR pitches presenting their business achievements and technological capabilities, including Enhans, Moveawheel, IdeaOcean, AVIS, All My Tour, CrossHub, and Piaspace.

As a result of the final evaluation, Enhans, a company with AI agent-based commerce automation solutions, claimed the prestigious championship and received the grand prize. IdeaOcean and All My Tour won the Excellence Awards, while CrossHub and AVIS each received Merit Awards. The winning teams will receive prize money ranging from 20 million to 50 million won, along with investment opportunities and various follow-up support including benefits when applying for public and private startup/business support programs, workspace accommodations, and infrastructure provisions such as cloud resources.

The Ministry also plans to provide the same follow-up support to Piaspace and Moveawheel, who competed fiercely in the competition but did not receive awards. To support the growth of excellent companies that advanced to the finals, the Ministry has been continuously upgrading its follow-up support by incorporating feedback from past winners, including the introduction of overseas competition linkage programs starting this year.
