Seoul AI Hub Launches Global Internship Program for Foreign Students

sungho-choo - 2025 May 8

The Seoul AI Hub has launched its Global Hiring Program 2025 to help Korean AI startups find talented international students for internship positions.

This program is designed for foreign students currently living in Korea who are interested in working with startups focused on artificial intelligence. It connects them with internship opportunities at companies supported by the Seoul AI Hub. These internships give students hands-on experience and may lead to full-time jobs. The program also aims to help build stronger connections between Korea and other countries in the tech world.

Last year, the program had a successful first run, placing 10 students in internships at eight different startups, including Hudson AI, PodiVision, and TriFifty. Based on that success, the Seoul AI Hub plans to expand the program this year, offering internships to 20 students at 20 startups.

The internships will last for three months, from mid-June to mid-September. The Seoul AI Hub will support interns throughout the entire process — helping with visa issues, setting up interviews, tracking attendance, and offering guidance if they move into full-time roles. Interns will also receive some financial support to help cover living expenses.

The program includes regular check-ins, feedback surveys, and follow-up support after the internship ends to make sure both the students and companies benefit from the experience.

Applications are now open and will close on May 11. Students interested in applying can find more information and apply on the Seoul AI Hub’s official website.
