Founded in 2017, Bear Robotics manufactures self-driving indoor robots that assist employees in various sectors like hospitality, healthcare, and logistics across North America, Europe, and Asia.
This investment propels Bear Robotics into new markets like smart warehouses and supply chain automation. The company plans to introduce its next-generation robotics platform specifically designed for these areas. Bear Robotics CEO John Ha emphasizes the strategic alliance with LG as more than just funding, aiming to achieve greater efficiency and productivity. Similarly, LG’s Chief Strategy Officer, Lee Sam-soo, sees this investment as a way for both companies to gain a competitive edge in service robotics through advanced technologies like embodied AI.
