A delegation of 26 innovative Korean startups participated in VIVA Technology (VIVA Tech) 2025, Europe’s largest startup and tech exhibition, held from June 11 to Saturday, June 14 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France.
Organized by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), the initiative was part of a broader effort to help domestic startups expand into global markets. MSS collaborated with key startup support organizations, including the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), the Gyeonggi and Chungnam Centers for Creative Economy & Innovation, Incheon Technopark, and the Seoul AI Hub, to operate a dedicated K-Startup Pavilion within the exhibition hall.
The K-Startup Pavilion showcased Korea’s most promising early-stage companies across diverse tech sectors. Participants received structured support, including pre-exhibition training, tailored business matching, and local networking programs designed to maximize global exposure and partnership opportunities.
In addition to the exhibition, MSS hosted two signature events to support tangible outcomes for participating startups. The first, K-Startup Night, brought together local French investors, accelerators, and media representatives for networking and collaboration. The second, Super Pitch Korea, was a high-stakes IR pitching event targeting European investors and startup-related organizations, offering Korean startups a platform to attract international investment and expand market reach.
