Robos, AI Slaughterhouse Robotics Startup Raises KRW 25 Billion

Robos, a startup specializing in automated slaughterhouse robotics, has raised KRW 25 billion in its latest investment round.

Founded in 2022, Robos develops advanced automation solutions for slaughterhouses, leveraging cutting-edge robotics and AI technologies. Robos’ core technology integrates deep learning-based vision AI with hybrid robotic systems, enabling automation of complex and hazardous slaughterhouse processes. The company aims to address labor shortages and improve working conditions in the meat processing industry by providing reliable, hygienic, and efficient robotic solutions.

Robos plans to achieve KRW 30 billion in revenue this year as it continues to scale its operations. Looking ahead, the company is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) next year via the technology evaluation track, with NH Investment & Securities serving as the lead underwriter.
