South Korean legal AI startup BHSN has raised 10 billion KRW in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by existing backer Altos Ventures, with new participation from Korea Development Bank and Woori Financial Capital. This latest funding brings BHSN’s cumulative investment to 16 billion KRW.
Founded in 2020, BHSN specializes in providing cutting-edge legal AI solutions through its flagship platform, Allibee. The platform incorporates proprietary technologies such as a Legal Large Language Model (Legal-LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and patented Legal OCR (Optical Character Recognition). These innovations enable efficient digitization and management of legal documents, offering services that improve corporate legal operations.
Allibee has already been adopted by prominent South Korean conglomerates, including CJ CheilJedang, Hanwha Solutions, and Aekyung Chemical. The company is also finalizing agreements with pharmaceutical and retail companies for implementation later this year. These partnerships highlight Allibee’s effectiveness in improving operational efficiency and compliance processes.
BHSN CEO Jung-Geun Lim stated, “This successful funding round validates the effectiveness of our Allibee service, and we aim to secure global competitiveness through differentiated technology and services.”
