Google Play is hosting the 2024 Changgoo Alumni Day to showcase Korean-backed startups. Launched in 2019, Changgoo is a startup support program run by Google Korea in partnership with the South Korean government. The initiative aims to provide small and medium-sized Korean developers with opportunities for global expansion. Over the past five years, participating companies have achieved impressive results, including KRW 394.7 billion in sales, 1,542 new hires, and KRW 147.6 billion in investment during the program.
On the eve of Alumni Day, a media roundtable featured 4 outstanding startups from this year’s program. The participating companies, which offer AI services for everyday use, included SOVORO, Clebrain, Sagolink, indid.lab. The full list of this year’s 100 companies can be found here.
