14 Korean Startups Partner with OpenAI

Fourteen Korean startups are collaborating with OpenAI. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups organized the ‘K-Startup and OpenAI Matching Day,’ which saw the participation of 42 startups, executives from OpenAI, and A.I. experts. Through presentation evaluations, 14 companies were selected. The recruitment process, which focused on API Application and General Collaboration, attracted applications from 220 companies, resulting in a competitive ratio of 15.7:1 for the 14 available slots. The selected startups will have the opportunity to visit OpenAI’s headquarters and engage with developers in 2024. Additionally, the government plans to provide collaborative funding support to the final selected companies.

  • Asleep= A sleep measurement app, ‘Sleep Routine’
  • Furiosa AI= A startup specializing in AI chip and software development
  • Ninewatt=A solution to save wasted building energy and improve energy efficiency
  • Bos Semiconductors=Specialized in high-performance SoC system semiconductor design for vehicles
