Global digital healthcare startup Gravity Labs has secured KRW 18 billion in Series A funding, marking a significant milestone in the Korean health-tech ecosystem. The company, which operates the popular health rewards app MoneyWalk, reached this achievement just one year after its Pre-Series A round, bringing its total cumulative funding to KRW 26 billionwithin three years of establishment.
Atinum Investment led the Series A round, with new investors including DSC Investment, Goodwater Capital, and Valon Capital joining the funding round. Notably, existing investors Bass Ventures, Schmidt, Seoul National University Technology Holdings, HGI, and Tail Ventures participated in follow-on investments, demonstrating continued confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.
MoneyWalk operates as a gamified health rewards platform that incentivizes users to develop healthy habits through monetary rewards and game mechanics. The app’s unique selling proposition centers on providing double the rewards compared to competing apps, setting a new standard in the health incentive space. MoneyWalk has achieved impressive growth metrics within 2.5 years of launch, reaching 1.3 million monthly active users (MAU) across 111 countries. Approximately 40% of the user base originates from outside Korea, highlighting the platform’s successful global expansion strategy.
The funding will support MoneyWalk’s international growth strategy, building on its current presence in 111 countries. The company aims to establish itself as the leading walking habit formation app globally, with specific focus on key markets including the United States and Japan.
